Please allow me to explain that, unfortunately, the device was not visible to the housekeeping staff at the time of cleaning. When we received the initial report, we were told that the iPad had been left in the hotel gym. As this is a public area, the investigation protocol is different and requires more detailed questions in order to rule out any confusion and proceed with the appropriate investigation.This caused the process to take longer than desired. Nevertheless, the guidelines of our lost property protocol were strictly followed at all times, which finally allowed us to inform you that we had your iPad and deliver it to you after you reported it missing from the gym. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this situation caused you and the impression it left with you, as it was never our intention.
